Mississippi State finished 3-0 in the Starkville Regional and will face No. 3 Georgia after a 19-run outburst against Louisiana.
On Sunday, May 31, Ole Miss baseball clinched the Lincoln Regional with a 5-4 walk-off victory over Arizona State in 10 innings, advancing to the NCAA Super Regional.
The Rebels reached the regional final after defeating Arizona State 7-6 in 14 innings on Friday, May 29, then beating Nebraska 6-3 on Saturday to stay alive in the winner's bracket.
Dom Decker delivered a 10th-inning sacrifice fly to score pinch runner Cannon Goldin with the decisive run, while relievers Wil Libbert and JP Robertson combined for five scoreless innings to preserve the tie.
Advancing to the Super Regional for the first time since 2022, Ole Miss now awaits the outcome of the Auburn Regional to learn its next opponent and potential host status.
Ole Miss will host the Super Regional in Oxford if Milwaukee defeats Auburn; if Auburn wins, the Rebels will travel to face the Tigers in the Super Regional matchup.
