An unauthorized drone entered Moldova's airspace from Ukraine on Saturday afternoon. The aircraft was detected by the National Army's Air Operations Service, and the Border Police observed, at the same time, an unmanned aircraft near Vasilcău village, the Soroca district.
The Ministry of Defence confirms that a drone overflew the Republic of Moldova's airspace from Ukraine. To ensure the security of civilian flights, the authorities decided to temporarily close the airspace in the northern and central areas.
