Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin said, "For a whole week, France, England, Spain, and Germany have been debating, 'How did we fall behind Türkiye in the PISA exam?' Leaving aside OECD member countries, we are now among the top 15 out of a total of 91 countries, including the OECD."
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin stated that the number of teachers in Hakkari has nearly tripled since 2002, and the number of classrooms has increased to 2,916. Tekin made statements regarding education investments and the 2025 PISA results.
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin said, "What we wanted to achieve with the 'Turkey Century Education Model' was to raise a generation that emphasizes and values human rights, brotherhood, democracy, fundamental rights and freedoms, the constitutional state, and the rule of law. When we solve this, when we strengthen our national unity and solidarity, Türkiye's economic and social development will accelerate even further."
Minister of National Education Yusuf Tekin evaluated the state of education in Hakkari during an education meeting in the city. Tekin stated that the number of teachers has increased from 1,527 in 2002 to 4,176, 2,139 classrooms have been added to the existing 1,148 classrooms, and 18 billion lira has been invested.
