Iran, Turkey to discuss security, border cooperation
TEHRAN, Sep. 16 (MNA) – Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni said a joint meeting between the interior ministries of Iran and Turkey will address border movements, security issues, trade exchanges, and counter-terrorism cooperation.
Iranian Interior Minister Iskandar Moomin, who met with Turkish Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi, made a surprising offer to Türkiye. Moomin, who supports Türkiye's political solution process in the fight against terrorism, stated that Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria should work together for a lasting solution.
