MHP Vehicle Struck After Driver Flees Checkpoint On Hwy 49 - Darkhorse Press

The Mississippi Highway Patrol was conducting a safety checkpoint on Highway 49 South near Flora when a driver fled the scene and led Troopers on a brief chase. During the chase, an MHP patrol car was hit by the fleeing vehicle. Once the vehicle came to a stop, the driver was apprehended with no further incident. Nobody was injured in the incident.
