The General Directorate of Meteorology issued a strong rainfall warning for the eastern Marmara region, the northeastern Aegean region, the western part of the Western Black Sea region, and the northern parts of Central Anatolia.

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has announced that showers and thunderstorms are expected across a large part of the country. Rainfall will affect many regions, from the Marmara to the Black Sea, and from the Aegean to Central Anatolia, with some areas experiencing particularly heavy downpours.

A cool and rainy air mass originating from the Balkans will affect the entire country, causing a noticeable decrease in air temperatures. The rainfall, expected to last for four days, is predicted to be locally heavy in the Marmara, Central Anatolia, and Western Black Sea regions.

The General Directorate of Meteorology announced that torrential rain is expected in Marmara, Aegean, Western Mediterranean, Central Anatolia and Black Sea. No significant changes in air temperatures are expected while local heavy rainfall warnings are issued in 6 regions.
