Met Office issues 10-hour yellow weather warning across South West
Visibility could fall below 100 metres as the yellow warning covers roads, rail and flights, with disruption most likely early Sunday morning.
Londoners awoke to thick fog on Saturday morning as the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning, cautioning residents about potential travel disruption in the early hours.
The warning covers large parts of the South West, West Midlands, and central southern England, including Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire, and Bath.
Visibility could fall below 100 metres in places, with the Met Office indicating a 50-75 per cent likelihood of moderate impact on bus, train, and flight services.
A Met Office spokesperson advised drivers to "check road conditions if driving, leaving extra journey time," while TfL buses and London Underground lines remain operational.
Thick fog is expected to persist through the night before slowly clearing during Sunday morning, though southern parts of England may see some sunshine later in the day.
