Four long-time 4-H volunteers in the Sauk Valley region will be inducted into the Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame on Aug. 16 as part of Illinois State Fair 4-H activities.

Merlyn Hall, Alden, was announced as Hardin County’s 2026 Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame inductee during the Hardin County Fair on July 12. The honor recognizes a lifetime of dedication to 4-H, agriculture, and youth development.
