Correio da ManhãInfamed received on average this year a daily notification of suspected adverse reactions to weight loss medicines and diabetes, such as vomiting, diarrhoea and hair loss, totaling 266 until 21 September.
Tirzepatide, the active substance in Mounjaro, which began to be marketed in November 2024, concentrates most of the notifications: six in 2024, 295 in 2025 and 186 by 21 September 2026
Infamed recorded a daily average of a notification for adverse reactions to drugs for diabetes and weight loss. Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea lead complaints in a year marked by a drastic increase in the consumption of these drugs.
