NEUNKIRCHEN. The teleshopping station with a former 163 employees registered bankruptcy this year at the end of February. The debts were then estimated at around 55 million euros.
The teleshopping channel Mediashop is undergoing a complete restructuring following its acquisition by One Spot GmbH. One Spot took over the insolvent company on June 1st and is now planning to relocate from Neunkirchen (Lower Austria) to a new location. One Spot announced on Thursday that the new lease agreement is currently being negotiated. Mediashop aims to expand internationally and generate a medium-term revenue of €120 million.
