The mayor of the town of Poienești, Nelu Caragață (PSD), from Vaslui was removed from office with the order to terminate the mandate signed by prefect Andrei Şerban, Thursday, October 15. Initially sentenced to four years in prison with execution in a corruption file, the building received a suspended sentence from the Court of Appeal Iasi.
