In a village with an "erased" name near Prijedor, 67 Croats from that village were brutally murdered. The massacre in Briševo in 1992, a Croatian village between Prijedor and Sanski Most, was committed by members of the 5th Kozara Brigade and the 6th Krajina Brigade from Sanski Most, which is one of the most massive deaths of Croats in a single day during the previous war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
