Summary by Ground News
Since 2013, the year after the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, mass shootings in the U.S. have nearly tripled. In 2022 alone, as of May 25, there have been 213 mass shootings that have killed 242 people and injured 912 others. If these incidents continue at the same rate throughout the rest of 2022, the country will reach 540 mass shootings this year.
