Marylanders can’t afford rising utility bills

I read with interest the recent article in The Baltimore Sun on gas utility prices (“Gas bill ‘affordability crisis’ hits Baltimore residents ahead of BGE rate hikes,” Jan. 23). I have lived at my current residence in Randallstown since August 2012. In my first winter, my high utility bill was roughly $180. My last bill was $597!
