‘Marshals’ Ratings: How Is ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff Doing at CBS?
Nielsen said the Yellowstone spinoff drew 20.6 million viewers in seven days and earned an early Season 2 renewal after two episodes.
On Sunday, March 1, the Yellowstone spinoff Marshals debuted on CBS, drawing 20.6 million multiplatform viewers within seven days.
This performance marks the most-watched network original series premiere without a football lead-in since the 2017 Young Sheldon debut, according to Nielsen data.
Nielsen rankings show Marshals is the most-watched broadcast TV show among all networks with 26.5 million viewers, trailing only Netflix's Stranger Things at 30.6 million.
Following the high ratings, CBS renewed Marshals for Season 2, which will premiere in fall 2026 instead of midseason.
CBS series currently occupy six of the top 20 most-watched shows across broadcast and streaming platforms, outperforming all other broadcast competitors with ABC as the only other network represented.
