Marion County Teacher Arrested, Charged with Sex Abuse

On Monday, Kentucky State Police arrested Adam McRay, a 34-year-old Marion County High School band director, and charged him with 17 counts of first-degree sexual abuse.
Kentucky State Police launched an investigation in late May after the Lebanon Police Department requested assistance to probe allegations of sexual contact involving at least two juvenile students.
A Marion County Grand Jury indicted McRay on August 6, and he is being held at the Marion County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
Additional charges could be filed against McRay in other counties as the investigation remains ongoing, Kentucky State Police indicated.
Police confirmed McRay was employed by Marion County Public Schools as a teacher and band director at the time of the alleged offenses.
