Thousands of people took part on Saturday in climate marches throughout France, after a summer marked by heat records and a series of fires. Around 260 mobilizations were announced across the country to demand emergency measures for the climate.
"This summer more than 8,000 people died in France due to the heatwave and at least 5 million acres of forest burned in the European Union," Greta Thunberg recalled.
