In Savoie, the threshold of 60 outbreaks of contagious nodular dermatosis has been crossed. This disease, which concerns only cattle, now reaches 35 farms according to the state services, on Monday 4 August.

Since the first case was detected on 29 June, the disease has been found in 64 households in about 10 communes in both departments.
The contagious nodular dermatosis is still not contained in Savoie and Haute-Savoie. A new assessment shows 64 outbreaks. The vaccination started in mid-July: in the long term, it must concern 310,000 cattle, but unions contest the strategy of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Although the number of cases of contagious nodular dermatosis (CDN) continues to increase, the regulatory area remains unchanged. Of 64 households, 35 are concerned, still in Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
