Man who fled prison after being charged with 4 murders pleads guilty to slayings, other crimes
Ameen Hurst, shackled to a wooden chair, pleaded guilty to 28 counts including four counts of third-degree murder and escape, as reported by The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Hurst escaped from prison last year after being charged with four murders and was recaptured after a week and a half on the run.
Hurst was arrested in 2021 for four killings and was affiliated with two Philadelphia gangs responsible for violence, according to law enforcement authorities.
