We have learned the identity of a victim who passed away in a Gibson County crash on Monday.

Additional Information Released on Gibson Co. Fatal Crash

The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office is releasing additional information concerning a fatal crash Monday night at the intersection of East State Road 68 and County Road 250 East near Haubstadt. The sheriff’s office says 29-year-old Jacob Birkla of Evansville was southbound on 250 east, failed to yield, and his car was struck by a westbound semi on East State Road 68.
