Deputies are investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a train in Rowan County on Wednesday night, according to the sheriff’s office. Around 10 p.m., deputies were dispatched to railroad tracks near Pinnacle Way Drive in Landis after receiving reports of a pedestrian being hit by an Amtrak train.
