Man City beat Newcastle 2-0 to keep in touch with title-rivals Arsenal
Pep Guardiola's Manchester City maintained pressure on leaders Arsenal with a 2-0 win over Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday. Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva scored for City as they moved two points behind the title-rivals. City did not look comfortable against a powerful Newcastle team that was dangerous on the counterattack but still managed crucial goals on either sides of the half.

"It was madness from the first second. We kept trying and dominating the game. We had a mountain to climb and we took it bit by bit," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said after the match.
