- Leach brutally beat the landlord downstairs, left her with severe injuries requiring hospitalization, then rammed his car causing substantial home damage.
- Leach attempted to slash his own arms, was found with self-inflicted wounds in his vehicle, and remains hospitalized under law enforcement custody.
- Leach faces attempted murder charges and will be booked into Martin County Jail after his hospital release, while the victim is in stable condition.
