Man accused of hammer attack in Brewer

An Orrington man is accused of attacking an acquaintance with a hammer Wednesday night in Brewer. Brewer police responded to an assault around 11 p.m. and found a man with serious injuries to his head on South Main Street, Public Safety Director Jason Moffitt said.
