Man, 69, critically injured in overnight hit and run on Southwest Side

A 69-year-old man was left critically injured Thursday night after a vehicle struck him and did not stop on the Southwest Side, Chicago police said. About 11:20 p.m., the man was on the street in the 2000 block of South California Avenue when a vehicle traveling south struck him and did not stop, police said.
