CAA Update Gives 'No Refunds' Update After Travel Company Goes Bust
The Civil Aviation Authority said 0 ATOL-protected bookings remain, leaving many customers without refunds after the company entered liquidation.
Regen Central Ltd, a Hertfordshire-based travel company selling package holidays to Europe and Southeast Asia, has entered liquidation with all customer bookings cancelled.
On January 13, 2026, the Civil Aviation Authority revoked the firm's Air Travel Organiser's Licence , forcing the company to cease all trading operations immediately.
The CAA stated, "We understand the company had no outstanding ATOL-protected bookings," leaving customers with accommodation-only or non-flight packages without financial protection or refunds.
Regen Central Ltd's collapse reflects broader instability in the UK travel sector; the CAA confirmed that Ickenham Travel Group Ltd, Great Little Escapes LLP, and Jetline Travel Ltd have also ceased trading recently.
Travelers believing they hold an ATOL-protected booking should contact the CAA via claims@caa.co.uk, though many customers may ultimately be left without financial recourse.
