HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Authorities responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a train. According to the Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office, this happened around 12:30 on Sunday morning near the intersection of North Peerless Road and Upper Mount Vernon Road. Authorities say the pedestrian was conscious and breathing and was taken to the hospital for serious, but not life-threatening injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
