'MAGA Blood Feud': Alina Habba, Ric Grenell Going to 'War'
- On Friday, former Trump attorney Alina Habba accused former Kennedy Center leader Ric Grenell of failing to deposit a nearly $6 million donation from her husband, Turhan Mildon, to the center.
- Kennedy Center records show Mildon only owed a $270,000 pledged donation, with staff finding no evidence of the alleged $6 million contribution. Officials noted Habba's reported figures shifted after she initially claimed the total was $17 million.
- Calling the claims a "lie," Grenell challenged Habba to provide proof for her allegations, while the White House launched a formal probe into the accusations.
- President Donald Trump directed White House Counsel Will Scharf to examine the claims, which insiders describe as the "ultimate MAGA blood feud." The couple's business relationship with Grenell previously frayed following an internal administration power struggle.
- Although Habba's attorneys plan to provide documentation to the White House, officials report that no proof has emerged so far. Another administration official suggested the conflict might simply stem from a "misunderstanding" between the former allies.
