EADaily, August 22nd, 2025. The chairman of the Moldovan opposition Party of Socialists, ex-president Igor Dodon called the upcoming visit of the leaders of European countries to Chisinau "direct interference in the internal affairs of the country."
The pro-European President Maia Sandu, at the initiative of this invitation, accused Russia at the end of July of attempts to destabilize the country's "democratic institutions". The meeting is scheduled for 27 August.
