Lowell Council OKs $8.6 million sewer improvement project

The Lowell City Council approved an $8.6 million sewer project Tuesday night. The project will extend sewer availability to undeveloped land on the west side of town. It will be a centralized sewage system, said Daniel Ellis, the city engineer. The lift station and sewer improvements project is expected to be completed by 2015.
