ITV Star Speaks Out After Almost Dying After Falling Into Bonfire
The Love Island Australia star suffered third-degree burns and brain bleeds after falling into a bonfire, and doctors delayed skin graft surgery.
Love Island Australia star Trent Woolman was airlifted to The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne earlier this month after suffering severe third-degree burns to his entire body while falling into a bonfire.
The reality star was cleaning a paddock alone on his sister's property in Inverleigh, Victoria when the accident occurred, which he described as "traumatic."
Doctors identified third-degree burns to his arms, mouth, and airway, alongside brain bleeds and a cyst, complications that delayed necessary skin graft surgeries for several days.
After escaping the fire, Woolman crawled to his sister's house, where she called an ambulance; he praised her as "amazing" and "so brave," noting he has "a couple weeks" of recovery remaining.
Known for his 2023 appearance on Love Island Australia, the reality star is scheduled to make a cameo in the new series of Married at First Sight Australia, attending co-star Zac Nunns' wedding.
