On the morning of Tuesday, July 7, in Houston, Mexican citizen Lorenzo Salgado Araujo died after being shot by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer while driving to work with three colleagues. Salgado Araujo's death is not an isolated incident. This year alone, at least two other people have died after being shot by ICE agents during traffic stops.
