Cardinal Carlos Castillo, Archbishop of Lima, announced this Thursday that steps are being taken to ensure that the image of the Lord of Miracles meets Pope Leo XIV on the last day of his visit to Lima, at Las Palmas Air Base, Surco district.
The Brotherhood of the Nazarenes presents the official schedule of October. This year, Christ Moreno will not go out to other cesis of Lima and Callao.
The image of the Lord of Miracles will leave in procession to the streets of Lima on five dates, being the first on October 3
The announcement was made by Cardinal Carlos Castillo at a press conference. José Luis Toledo Zapata, butler of the Brotherhood of the Lord of Miracles, assured that they will expect an official announcement.
