Long-term Follow-up Results of CARsgen's Satri-cel as Sequential Therapy After First-Line Treatment for Gastric Cancer Presented at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting
The 5-patient cohort showed a 100% confirmed response rate among those with target lesions and no grade 3 or higher cytokine release syndrome, researchers said.
On Saturday, May 30, 2026, CARsgen Therapeutics Holdings Limited presented long-term analysis results of satricabtagene autoleucel at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting for sequential therapy in advanced gastric/gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma .
Satri-Cel is an autologous CAR T-cell product candidate targeting the protein Claudin18.2, designed to address unmet clinical needs in patients with advanced G/GEJA following first-line chemotherapy.
Among five patients, the confirmed objective response rate was 100% in four patients with target lesions, and median progression-free survival since first-line therapy was 20.9 months.
The analysis showed a manageable safety profile with no grade 3 or higher cytokine release syndrome or immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome , and two patients underwent surgical resection after satri-cel therapy.
CARsgen is actively expanding satri-cel applications, including ongoing Phase I clinical trials for pancreatic cancer adjuvant therapy, following Priority Review and Breakthrough Therapy Designation granted by the CDE in 2025.
