Lithuanian customs officers arrested a car suspected of violating EU sanctions against Belarus

Vilnius Territorial Customs officials reported that a Belarusian citizen had been caught driving a BMW 730 LDxDrive at the Šalčininkai Road station. On 25 April, a Belarusian citizen leaving the Šalčininkai Road station declared to Lithuanian customs officials that he was carrying a car bought for personal purposes. During the customs inspection, officials were suspicious of possible commercial activities carried out by a Belarusian citizen.
