Lithuania says drone sighting turns out to be flock of birds, after NATO summons jets

- On Monday, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte warned that strikes near alliance territory demonstrate Russian President Vladimir Putin's "desperation and also his desire to sow fear and terror." He pledged to bolster defenses for the 32-nation alliance.
- Antanas Matutis, commander of the Lithuanian air force, said wreckage was recovered and the drone was "likely" carrying explosives. Vilmantas Vitkauskas, head of the National Crisis Management Center, reported the device entered from Belarus and spent about 30 minutes in airspace.
