Lidl recalls cookies with ingredients not written in English over 4 undeclared allergens

- The recall covers 11.6 oz. packages with UPC 4056489125839 sold from July 15 to July 22 across multiple East Coast states and the District of Columbia. Customers can return the cookies to any Lidl store for a full refund.
- Separately, Food Safety Australia New Zealand issued a recall for a batch of LGM Hot Chilli Oil 275g because the product does not declare the presence of peanuts on its label.
- Anyone with an allergy or sensitivity to those ingredients faces "the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reactions if they consume these products," the FDA noted. Customers with questions regarding the Lidl recall can call 747-5435.
