Tallinn FCI Levadia, who are racing towards the Estonian football championship, got another win in their home Premium League when they defeated Paide Linnameeskonna with an 89th-minute goal at A. Le Coq Arena. Tallinn FC Flora, the only team still in the title race, then lost to Kuressaare, and Levadia secured the Estonian championship title for the 12th time.
Vjatšeslav Zahovaiko had become Gambian champion as a coach and had picked up a few more medals with Paide, but when he took charge of FCI Levadia this season, he immediately led them to Estonian champion status, securing the title with six rounds to go. Understandably, Zahovaiko was in a very good mood and confirmed that he would celebrate today/Sunday.
