Letter to the editor: There is no cure for stupid, and this bill sure is stupid

I have a friend here in Summit County who says there is no cure for stupid. We have two state senators, Sonya Lewis and Kevin Priola, and two state representatives, Andrew Boesenekcer and Julia Marvin, who are introducing Senate Bill 24-159, titled “Mod to Energy & Carbon Management Processes.” If it becomes law, this bill will ultimately end permitting of all new oil and natural gas production in Colorado by 2030.
