Thomas Fröberg will step down as general manager of Luleå when his contract expires after the season. The 59-year-old profile still has a house and family in Karlstad and states that family reasons are behind the decision. – Based on my family situation and the fact that the association wants to work long-term for the future, I have chosen to decline a continuation, he says.
Two years ago he won the Swedish Championship gold medal. Now Thomas Fröberg has decided to leave Luleå.
Thomas Fröberg will not remain in his role as general manager of Luleå Hockey. Now the club announces that Fröberg will not extend his contract after this season. – I have had two fantastic years with the club, with the Swedish Championship gold in 2025 as the absolute highlight, says Fröberg in a press release.
