The Bayeux Sales Hotel, Calvados, was robbed on the night of Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th November 2025. The thieves, apparently well informed, left with a loot of at least 100,000 euros. Jewellery and gold coins were stored pending one of the largest sales of the year scheduled Monday and Tuesday. Many buyers had come for these items now missing. About 60 valuable items have disappeared from a window during the night of Saturday to Sunday. The damage is being estimated but would be around tens of thousands of euros.
