The current state administration did participate in the process that led to the authorization of the Las Dunas real estate project in Chuburná Puerto, according to official documents. The Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (Semarnat) was responsible for the environmental authorization in April 2025, but two state government agencies were involved in the process starting in November 2024.
