Lamar Jackson Ruled Out for 2nd Straight Week as the Ravens Prepare to Take on the Browns
Tyler Huntley will start after Lamar Jackson was ruled out with an ankle injury, leaving Baltimore without its two-time MVP for a second straight game.
On Friday, Baltimore Ravens head coach Jesse Minter ruled quarterback Lamar Jackson out for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns; backup Tyler Huntley will start in his place.
Jackson has been sidelined since sustaining an ankle injury during the October 4 win over the Tennessee Titans and missed all three practices this week.
Leading the Ravens to a 30-23 overtime victory at the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday, Huntley completed 24 of 32 passes for 201 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions.
Coach Minter stated, "We won't bat an eye with Snoop being in there," while Ravens running back Derrick Henry said the team's job is to "hold it down until he gets back."
The Ravens hold a one-game lead atop the AFC North, while the Browns listed defensive tackle Mason Graham as questionable and ruled out defensive tackle Mike Hall for Sunday.
