The report of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs points to "some significant humanitarian response" and supports only half of those in need.
The World Food Programme (WFP) needs EUR 97.5 million for emergency support in Mozambique in the next six months and avoid cutting by half the total number of persons assisted in Cape Delgado since March. "In the next six months, it will be necessary $115 million [97.5 million] for the full implementation of all planned activities, including a deficit of $80 million [67.9 million] for emergency response", is described in the most recent report.
