Kuwait air defences respond to hostile Iranian missile, drone attacks

Kuwait authorities extinguished a fire in a residential complex caused by an Iranian drone attack, with no injuries reported and damage limited to property or materials, as stated by Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Gharib.
Kuwaiti air defence systems are actively intercepting incoming missiles and drones amid increased Iranian aggression, and officials urged residents to stay calm and follow safety instructions.
The US Central Command conducted strikes against Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets, while Iran claimed attacks on US assets in Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, and Kuwait, escalating US-Iran hostilities.
Jordan and Bahrain reported defending against missile and drone attacks, with initial US assessments indicating no casualties despite Iranian claims, and Jordan's air defence intercepted most incoming ballistic missiles.
The emirate of Kuwait was targeted during the night of Tuesday to Wednesday by missile and drone attacks, the country's armed forces announced.
"Kuwait's air defenses are currently facing threats from enemy drones and missiles," the armed forces said via X, urging citizens to comply with the authorities' instructions.
