ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY)-- A Krotz Springs woman was convicted of 2nd degree murder of her ex-husband. After investigating phone records, bullet trajectory and witnesses, it was determined 52-year-old Margaret Yvette Barker shot John Barker, her ex-husband, in his right flank five times on Sept. 6, 2021 on the front porch of her home in Krotz Springs., according to St. Landry Parish District Attorney Chad P.
