Kris Mayes OKs Tucson sales tax vote this summer

Summary by Ground News
Tucson City Council set a summer vote on a possible sales tax increase. Arizona law requires such elections go before voters only on November ballots. Attorney General Kris Mayes says Tucson, as a charter city, can set the dates of its own elections. Council called the vote for August 6, but the state Legislature then moved the date.
