Keystone’s new gift policy allows the town to remove memorials after 10 years, outlines who can be honored within town limits

At a Town Council meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 25, Keystone approved a resolution to create a formal policy surrounding gifts given to the town, including memorials like benches, trees, rocks and statues.  The town already has a general donation policy, but the new resolution will more specifically address questions related to gifts, like what kinds of items will be accepted, how they will be maintained over time and who memorial gifts can honor.
