- Beshear stated he joined to prevent 'confidential and personal information' from being shared unlawfully, arguing the federal push relies on 'unsubstantiated allegations of fraud' to target states' TANF funding.
- Nationally, the program serves more than 2.7 million people annually, including more than 28,200 Kentuckians; the Administration for Children and Families has not commented on the pending litigation.
