The University of Nebraska-Lincoln conferred a record 3,800-plus degrees during commencement exercises May 8-9. Hundreds of area students earned undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Dakota Timanus earns UNL degree

Dakota Nicole Timanus of Gregory was among a record 3,762 graduates who received degrees from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during commencement exercises May 8-9. Timanus earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the College of Engineering.

The University of Nebraska- Lincoln conferred a record 3,885 degrees during commencement exercises May 8-9. The 3,762 graduates - also a record - are from 61 countries; 45 U.S.
